How to Search
- Use Global Search above or at the top of each page to search across all collections. Enter a simple keyword such as a name, subject, place or artist.
- Click on a link below to go to a specific collection area. Choose “Objects, Photographs, Manuscripts, Ships Plans,” “Books and Periodicals,” or “Regional Oral History Database”
- Use Browse in the navigation bar to see a list of subjects, object name, and artist, maker or author.
- Use Search to narrow down your keyword search by typing one or more terms into a specific field such as title or geographic name.
- Narrow your search results by selecting “images only” to see records with attached images, or sort by “object name” to see similar items together, such as photographs.
- Explore Features to see past exhibitions, special collections, and interpreted content. New features will be added regularly.
- Return to this page by clicking All Collections in the navigation bar.
